Barrett, a native of Dallas, Texas, embarked on a journey of education and professional growth. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Sports Science from Texas Tech University. Following college, Barrett worked as a physical therapy technician, concurrently managing boot camps and personal training sessions while completing prerequisites for nursing school.
His pursuit of higher education led him to The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. During this time, Barrett also dedicated two years of service at Parkland Hospital. Simultaneously, he worked towards earning his master's degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Walden University.
Outside of his professional life, Barrett and his wife Zoe joyfully welcomed their daughter, LulaMae, into their lives. They are equally proud parents to their beloved pup, Heidi. In his leisure moments, Barrett finds enjoyment in watching movies, fishing in East Texas, staying active, and experimenting with cooking.
